The trans was rebuilt but im doing the 2nd trans fluid changed on saturday...did the 1st one today

I have honda fluid the new dw1 or whatever its called and was wondering if i should add the bottle of lucas trans fix if have laying around?

there is a minor lag in tiptronic from 1-2, 2-3 very very minor tho

is it better if use all honda or add lucas when i change it

NEVER lucas--way too thick and wont solve your issue

Was the trans done local? go ask-or look at trans- were the shift selenoids replaced?
or even cleaned?
new trans= new selenoids to be safe!!,,100 bucks for 3 and 4 gear External ones we replace

do a full fluid (holds 7.3qts, do a bit more for good mesure) change out with `the accord method`--engine running- in gears etc,,not the regular gravity drain and refill
there may be a lot of particulate matter after rebuild

Ck out the external filter too,,worth changing now for safety $25 beck-arnley

how does it shift in D5?
how many miles on rebuild? fully broken in yet?
How are you using SS/tiptronic?
what rpm is the problem?

note its a good idea to leave SS alone unless actual backroads fun and you need to downshift for correct gear and torque/rpm.. for the apex
Use brakes to slow the car
trans to speed up
The car can outshift you at full throttle in D4-D5
SS/tip is nothing more than a micro sensor sending a request to the ecu
if rpm and speeds are in limits and wont cause overrev, it allows the shift
otherwise a light blinks on dash

Maybe your shift microswitches are dirty?
ever spill soda etc in the shifter or drink holder- which drains directly to the critical microelectrics below~

get a free owner book at www.owners.acura.com and register with acura care 1 800 382 2238 x5 if not already done so
ask if all recalls taken care of
many are missing the airbag inflator recall

Thats a hell of a explanation dude thankss

d5 is seamless, i would have to go find the shop it was done at and its got abut 65.xxxkm on the trans so im sure its broken in and as for the soleniods go i dont think they were...should i use the honda part or an aftermarket piece?also how hard is to change? and i would have to check i jus kinda use it randomly when i feel like it, inside/outside the shifter area is squeaky clean.

i will also be doing the external filter but should i do it before or after the flush

and i will look into the accord method thanks again for the awesome info
