Rotors?

Has anyone bought performance rotors? I have a 99 TL and would like to get a recommendation before I buy.

Search. I'd suggest Rotora. Also, check out the group buys through our vendors.

If a vendor can get a group of people to buy an item, the unit price is less than a single sale.

Look under staff for our vendors, or go the black market section of the forum. Excelerate has good deals and prices on Rotora rotors. Very fast and reliable.

I got Brembo blank rotors, not really performance oriented but they do the job, and cost a lot less than OEM replacement. You can also look for drilled or slotted rotors from vendors here or on Ebay.

I suggest Rotora, I have slotted and crossdrilled front and rear. I got them from excelerate. He is a vendor here on the site. Fast shipping. I recommend him.

Bought Rotora slotted front rotors about 2.5 years ago from a group buy on this forum (forgot who organized it) and just intalled them two weeks ago. So far I love the look and the performance is much much better than stock.

I bought the Axxis brake pads together with the rotors and the brake pads squeked and "dust" like crazy. The braking is hella good however, but I can't stand the noise and the dirty look of my front wheels. I finally changed the pads to Akebono last weekend and in the process of breaking-in. Won't know if there are any brake dust for another week. But I read the review on Akebono in this form and they are pretty good.

Sorry for too much information.

Hawk pads are really good to. people also use EBC green stuff. I am using Rotora pads. They are good, but I think I am going to go back to the hawk pads after i need to change them.

Yup. Slotted Rotora.
I have them for the font. Now my rear brakes are starting to thin out. I may have to spend the $$$ again.

Centric's slotted rotors = StopTech's slotted rotors. Centric manufactures them for StopTech since they are partners.

Hey PiZaul, which eBay seller's rotors have you had success with? Are the rotors slotted and cross-drilled? Also, how long did the rotors last?

depends on how you would drive it. daily go for slotted like powerslot or rotora. slottoed and dimpled EBC. if your doin some major auto cross i wouldn't recommend cross drilled, but they use cross drill on super cars.
