Resonators

I wanna replace my 14" resonator on my magnaflow catback but have a question.. whats the diff. between this one:
http://www.hottexhaust.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=10435

and this one:
http://www.hottexhaust.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=14414

Other than the size difference, what does center/center mean? Should I just keep my stock 14" Resonator and get this center/center one along with it or replace the 14" Resonator with the 22" one? How much of a sound difference will each one make?

the last one has a 2 inch inlet and outlet, first one has a 2.25 inch inlet and outlet...

EDIT: They are also two different lengths, the 22 inch will be a LOT quieter than the 14 inch one.

Oops, chose the wrong diameter. Both would have 2.25 inch inlets and outlets. Why is the second one called center/center though and the first one has no real name, its just a tube. Also the first one is aluminum, does that tend to rust?

I would just go by length. The larger the lenght the quieter it will be.

and aluminum doesnt rust

The second one is more of a "muffler" than a resonator and tells you the inlet/outlet are center in, center out, as opposed to an offset center, etc. No real difference otherwise...longer resonator equals less raspy/quieter exhaust.
