Resonator question

So I'm going with a set of Maganflows from our vendor Excellerate at a great price. I've read a couple of posts where they recommend a 14-22 resonator when installing the mufflers. Is this something a muffler shop would get me or is this something I would buy through after market means. Anyone have a part # I should be looking at?

I did a little searching, and I came up with the Magnaflow 10435 resonator (22 inch). Can anyone confirm before I give the go ahead to Josh. Thanks.

The length of resonator depends on the sound you want from the muffler. Most muffler shops have them or can get them, Call around to see and find out if the shop doing the work has them and see if they can try different lengths for you. I might go smaller myself like the http://www.magnaflowexhausts.com/pro...productid=6491

Ok.... last question on this becuase Ive been reading plenty of posts and threads in the last few days... Do I need to get an aftermarket resonator when going with an aftermarket set of mufflers. I've read many ppl going with straight pipe and some ppl suggesting certain size resonators. I dont want a ricer but something nice and noticeable. With a set of magnaflows and magnaflow resonator, am I going the right way.

2-14832's Mufflers
1-10425 Resonator

With the magnaflow mufflers you get rid of the stock resonators and put inplace the the one above (or the size you want for the sound you want)
