Question about Used Pulleys

So I got some used pulleys for a great price but never saw pics of them.

Well when I got them today, I looked at them and saw that they had minor scratches on the surface... no biggy I suppose.

What I am worried about is that there are deeper scratches within the actual inner lining of the smaller pulley.

The teeth like marks are probably from the belts, but I'm wondering if they'll affect my car.

I know its important that the crank pulley be perfectly balanced so that it spins correctly... is this true for the PS/ALT pulley as well? Will these scratches throw off the balance?

Let me make sure I am getting the pic-
There are several small nicks on the side on the main pulley- those can usually be filed flush and check the pulley to make sur it runs straight
The other pulley- are those actual gouges with rough edges/teeth?
That will destroy the belt

IS there any sort of disclainer or warranty from the seller
If no pics- certainly the sort of thing ~good faith~ would expect to be disclosed

yeah man that looks like someone grabbed it with tools. that will shred the belt over time. im pretty sure they are precisely balanced parts. i would not mess around. not worth it if you ask me. ask for you money back.

I would not run those pulleys. Someone used a chain or large pliers to hold that pulley in order to remove it and gouged the teeth on the pulley. You will shred belts with those pulleys. I would ask for your money back.

Also where is the crank pulley? That is just the alternator and P/S pulley. If the crank pulley is in good condition you could just run that one. Surface scratches aren't a big deal but those other marks are. If the guy did that to these pulleys I can only imagine what he did to the crank pulley, if he even sent you one.

Those will tear right through belts. Some one made a big mistake taking them off. I'm not expert, but they did a terrible job, and did you wrong man.
