Question about HID

My wife just got 03 TL
I'm thinking to get HID kit for the fog light.
I saw at ebay there have 2 kinds of bulb, 35 watts and 50 watts.
Do you think if I get the 50 watts bulb, will the fog light housing melt or get burn?
Or will the lense break?

Stick with the OE spec rating for watts on the fog lamps- there are bulbs that say- gives 55 watts of light for35 watts power- thats ok
Its not about melting the housing- rather overloading the wires and start a fire

You can change the kelvin rating- getting more yellow or ??? depending on needs
You want a low diffused wide pattern light that doesnt bounce back glare off rain and fog- they are water particles after all !

Check the Off Topic link, at top of every page, then look in Sponsored Sales for threads on foglight options from acurazine authorized vendors- the right stuff at the right price

For your low beams- there are options on color ratings
On my gen2 I went from the 4300s to Kaixen 6000K hyper whites- they have that nice blue tint the OE bulbs have- but way more intense, and they pick out road markings like you cant believe!
Other cars pull next to me and their lights look weak and brown on the road
