Q for the FI gods in here...

Well thank you guys in advance. My question is what is the peek amount of boost going into a TL-P before there has to be any fuel mods? As in injectors and fuel pump and so on. I was talking to one of my friends and he was saying that I would be able to boost 6psi before there would be fuel mods needed. I though about it and I came to the conclusion that I would have to mod the fuel system some how with any boost to prevent it from running too lean. Can someone please correct me or give me some advice. Thanks again.

Eddie

i think 6psi is about right. I'm not sure if you'd need fuel mods slightly beyond 6psi but im pretty sure thats the limit as far as keeping ur engine entirely safe goes.

yup, i think 6psi, which is basically the CT SC with the alternator HBP (the one you get from comptech, not the scalbert one) is the most you can do without aftercooling. i will soon be installing an SC on my TL-P. I think it will be the first documented one on the forum...

thanks guys I thought I would double check before trying anything. So if ct is sending out a bigger fuel pump it might just be a good idea to get one before boosting any psi correct?

i would think so...are you going turbo> if so, search for black2001tlon19s. he went that route, and he ended making more power than an sc. it also costed more.
