Just food for thought...I was going through my Summit Racing catalog today and saw a bunch of mufflers that were all very good and got thinking....

Couldn't you run a turbo muffler from like Borla, Thrush, Summit, Flowmaster, etc??? Granted some don't have the 2" for a TLp but some do..and the prices of some are MUCH lower than some Apexi etc..

Being that our mufflers do crap for performance and are all about looks, tone or both I would think some of these would be an option..

Opinions??

Of course any other mufflers will work. But none of them will be a direct bolt on. It will be like the magnaflow set up. You will have to buy the muffler then go to a muffler shop and let them do the custom pipe work

If the muffler has a 2" inlet that is offset and still has a center outlet where would the custom fab come in? Sorry my old gearhead muscle car brain thought it would just bolt up, am I missing something?

Custom fab = pipe welding, hangers welding.

Go look at how are mufflers are put on. Then you will see what is custom about it. Your muffler will have to be cut off, the new one will have to be welded and hangers will have to be made
