I have a stock 2000 TL. I want to get an intake. I go for the sound more, don't really matter about hp. So, Should I get a short ram intake or cold air intake, which one will sound better?, and also which brands are better...

I would do a search on this. There are TONS of threads on cold air intakes on this site.

Get a short ram air intake if you value sound over horse power. I think AEM or Injen makes the best.

INJEN Cold Air Intake deffinitely. Good sound and performance.

 

if u want sound and performance go with the AEM v2. sounds almost if not as loud as the SRI's but still gives you the performance of a CAI.



but next time please try the search first....

 

Either go SRI or go AEM V2, yes the V2 is a cold air intake and not as loud as the SRI, but it is the loudest cold air intake and it will add more HP than a SRI. Somebody lock this.
