hey all i was ooking through the phtotgraph thread and saw a lot of cars with no amber in the headlights and taillights. ive heard of a method of melting out the amber in the heqadlights, can this same thing be done in the tailights. but it seems that it would be really difficult to reseal the light assembly? is there any way to buy the stock or semi-stock looking headlights and/or taillights w/out the amber for a 99 tl? thanks in advance for the help!

 

You 1st have to clear out your headlight to get the amber len out of it. Then go buy chrome blub to keep it looking clean. Also they do now sell clear headlight with blackout housing on Ebay($300 or less). For the taillight only thing you can do is go buy aftermarket depot light or get 02-03 OEM Taillight. You can find both these items on ebay.

 

I wish they had those for the 02-03 TLs as well.

 

is there anywhere other than ebay to buy the head lights or tailights?

 

check out the black market....member named jack n coke...does great work on headlights...mine had no leaks whatsoever
