Motor mount helpp!!

Just bought a kit from xlr8 (62a). Was thinking about attempting a DIY BUT seems like too big of a job. Was wondering if anybody could recommend any shops in the central New Jersey area for a decent price

I believe any shop can do that work, It involves no Critical Areas and its Pretty Straight forward...

You should give it a go! The most difficult part its the rear Mount and its only becouse its cramped...

Yella I put those mounts on my TL also. It's not a hard job to do and doesn't involve lots of tools. I say give it a shot yourself.

Maybe I'll give it a shot tomorrow, if I can get a buddy to help me out. I was playing basketball on Monday and I hurt myself due to being out of shape and demanding so much out of my body suddenly...kinda keeping me from being motivated enough to do it myself.

Definitely gonna keep the Facebook group on file for future reference

Milwaukeedave. What did you do with the vacuum lines from the stock mounts?

Hey Yella, ya can do the front and passenger side top with a little effort and some basic tools.
Than ya can pocket enough money on labor savings to pay someone to do the rear, as it's a bit
more tricky. The vac lines can be plugged at their source.

Follow the rubber line back to the steel one it originates from. Autozone sells vacuum caps for just this purpose. You'll need 2 total. I had to get a variety pack w like 8 different sizes in there. Just take off all the rubber hose and cap it.
