I need a rear view mirror for my 2001 Acura tl, and i was wondering if a 2003 acura tl's mirror would fit normally. also it is with auto defrost.

Most likely it should fit, but i just want to make sure before i order it.

also would a 2003 acura tl type S body kit fit on a 2001 acura tl?

 

the body kit will fit perfectly, with the exception of the front bumper.

either way... a OEM lip kit from a 02-03 model won't fit a 99-01 without modifications.. however, you can buy those ready to slap on kits from ebay that use the 99-01 bumper with the 02-03 front lip...

or the wings west front lip fits...

now a body kit won't fit anyways.. they do sell one for the 99-01 but who would throw on a body kit on a TL...... eerrr...

 

The sides and rear will fit, just not the front.

And to clarify things for you, there is NO Type-s kit, the OEM body kit was the exact same kit in 99 as it was in 03. The only difference was in 02-03 they had a different front bumper necessitating the need for a different front lip

 

depending on the package you had you could have onstar its in our owners manuals also make sure you get one that has either auto dim or not depening on what your current mirror has/had
