mdx 3.5 swap

iv been looking all over the internets for info on this swap, can't seem to find any. i replaced my motor a few months ago and the shop was sent the wrong motor so right now i got a 02 j30a1 from an accord sitting in it with my intake mani's injectors and all the little things that are required to run it. At first i was thinking of getting a type s block and doing the 3.5 crank to stroke it but im assuming i would have to do and piggy back or stand alone to run it. then i thought maybe the 3.5 swap with the type S heads would be a better bet what do u guys think and what parts would i need to get this swap done iv put a deadline on my self of june to get all parts needed and get this 3l out of my car lol. on another note would there be any reason to keep the 3l and do work to it let me know your thoughts thanks guys

If you have a 99 TL your best option is just getting the motor that belongs in it. I myself am looking into doing the j35a1 swap into my 99 TL out of a 2000 odyssey which is real similar to our stock motors. It uses the same intake manifold and doesnt have the dual stage butterfly system. It looks like it will be a direct swap except for the ecu. I hope I helped u out at least a little bit. Ik its hard to get questions answered sometimes on this site.

Its not the best option. Having the dual stage intake doesnt make it any harder to put in.

Also its not hard to get questions answered here. It also helps using the search button. There is ALL sorts of info here about the 3.5 conversions
