LED fogs... but not really
So i came upon this thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/03-cl-type-s-led-lights-what-do-you-think-748830/) and I really like Fito's idea:
I was thinking about doing something similar on my 99 TL but I'm not feeling the full outline. what do you guys think?
they'd go down by the cirlced areas:
i was thinking like on the bottom and the outside, sorta like a backwards L. or maybe the top and outside edge?

not feelin the idea at all....just retrofit some accord fogs or do a projector retrofit.
but if ur sticking to ur idea no matter wat, i think puttin them along the outside edges and bottom edges wood be better

I ALMOST did exactly what youre describing when i was doing my fogs. I dont think itll look bad though so if you try it i know id be eager to see the results. Is it played out? Maybe....

i was in between doing a single line at the top or a double line with one at the top and one on the side where the existing holes are in the fog area. So like a rotated backwards L shape on the drivers side and a rotated L shape on the passenger side.

Measure it and then get a set of these:
This is over 2 feet.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT
This one is about a foot.

They look nice.
You can also wire them up to the parking by just tapping it or run a separate switch to them.

those are perfect but any clue on the Kelvin temp? I'm gonna have all 6K up front and want to match. I was thinking about just ordering these (http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/D...74230-1-3.html) when I buy switchbacks and HIDs from them.

hate to correct you, but Kelvin color temp can be measured regardless of the source. V-LEDs and many other sites that sell LEDs, offer their whites in 5K and 6K. it's the same concept as with HIDs, its just an indication of the color of light that the source puts out.

would it look bad where you run it along one of the slots(in my case i'm thinking about the very top). isntead of having my led's exposed i was going to put some type of diffuser whether it be an actual diffuser or sanded plexi-glass or a combo of the too.
Me and my dad were going to do some cutting and fitting to see how it looks.
I'm like you guys, don't want to over do my car i'm just thinking of something simple.Don't wanna over do it.I'll take soem pics and see what you guys think

You'r better off just retrofitting some fog lights. The whole led thing should just stay on an audi and yes it is getting played out. I think white is the only color that can really pull it off imo
