Just put Comptech IceBox in
Just put the Comptech Icebox in my 03 TL-s and it was a mofo to do. Started at 10:30 last nite thinking it would take and hour and 4 hours later i was done...hah...i can tell a noticable difference in throttle response and acceleration...the horn is leakin some blue fluid but im thinking it is the excess spray from the filter...hoping it isnt coolant...will this mod screw me when it comes to warranty fixing my tranny?
they shouldn't bother you about the icebox.........Some dealers install comptech stuff so I dont see how they can void your tranny warranty because of that.Becareful though about Tranny Cooler and headers if you ever think about these in the future.

4 hours? what were you drinking a beer in between each twist of the screw driver????
As for what its dripping, it has to be something on the filter, and isnt coolant, our coolant is Green!

yeah, that blue stuff doesn't sound right. were you using blue anti-seize paste or something?
as for your warranty, the airbox is not an issue. neither are the headers. don't worry about it. i have a cooler, headers and intake. i have never had a problem. if you put in a supercharger then i'm sure they will give you a fight but they will still have to honor the warranty in the end as long as it didn't cause the failure.
