I have them wired to the secondary lights(the blinkers and markers) so they only turn on when I click the lights to the first notch. They are not wired to either of the headlights, but are on when either low or highs are on.

just splicing into 2 wires....the wires that go to the little orange lights under the blinkers...the ones with the orange diffusers over them if you don't have cleared lights.

nice work, I'm redoing my headlight assemblies, as they are kinda damaged and dingy from going across country...I may just do white halos now. Put some switchbacks in for your blinkers, it will look sexy.

I dont know guys i still dont like either, i think if we could make one that better fit the shape of the highbeam section then it would look better. we dont need the second one for one it looks slanted and out of place. just my opinion but the purple was hideous to me.

i was thinking about just putting the ones over the high beams but i saw pictures of that already done with LED's and it looked kinda cross eyed. if i had to do this again though, i'd definitely order smaller size halo's so i had more play on the angle that i set it in. if you look at it from the side, mine kinda look like this

Wow great job to both you guys. I don't think the purple+white/blue was ricey at all--> it blended very nicely and the purple light accents the sharp corner of the headlights

Actually there's an eBay seller LIGHTWURKZ that actually has a pair for us and claims to be 2x brighter than the competition... Maybe worth looking into...

looking at this more, although the install looks nice, I think halo color that would look closer to the oem headlight color (4100K) would look better and just doing a halo on the high beam circle and not over the low beam.

Props for the good work. The job seems well done!

However, all this is definitly not my cup of tea.. The corners don't match the HIDs/angel eyes.. Which are purple.. Yeah, I know you like it, but it just seems out of place on a car. Plus 12000k HIDs are totally useless and scream "souped-up civic".

I like the idea of the halos in the headlights but I'm not to sure about the color. I think that anything above 10,000K is rice. But clean install nonetheless

I plan to do this in the near future, but have a few questions. I'm a noob at lights/HID Kits/Halo's. So please, bear with me.

What is an inverter? Function?

How much does Halo kit cost?

I got kinda lost on how you got the wires from the halo's out of the headlight. Elucidate?

I know the Halo kit comes with a balast and inverter, but where do you hook these things up so they have power?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer my questions...

use the s-e-a-r-c-h button. just go to the second gen tl forums and click on the DIY sticky thread... you'll find it there... as for these halo mods, i really like the white halos on the SSM... i wonder how hard this is for a noob. i wouldnt mind paying somebody to do this... badass mod!

I think it's too bright when you turn on all the lights. But only the angle eyes, Look so nice in the day and night time. I don't know, It might be too bright for where I live, I might get pull over from the cop in VA. Happened to me one time only changed a lamp to a rainbow color. I had to pay $100 for the fine. Just the bad luck...
