so i been readying and getting mixed info here but can i take the cams alone out of my j32a2 and drop them into the j35a2 and it would work or do i actually need to use the whole j32a2 head on the j35 block? im asking because i have a j35a2 engine and i have a j32a2 that got overheated and was wondering if i can take the cams or the whole head

 

Yes you can just swap cams, I just did it.

Took me about 15 mins each side (engine out of car). You will have to adjust valves afterwards.
