J32A1 in sandrail....

Hello, I am new to this forum and the j32a1 motor. I purchased a sandrail with this motor, it has a turbo kit(7psi) on it but other than that it is stock. I am wondering what other bolt on parts I can get for it to get more HP and TRQ...like i said all I know about the motor is that its a j32a1 out of an Acura...Thanks

actually very common to use J engines in off road stuff.

check out www.j32a.com, probably a better place to find answers to your questions.

arent the A1s out of the 2nd gen bases? i think iirc they are a LOT easier to tune because of no DBW... Im sure you could do open headers or something of that sort and maybe PnP the manifold

^ Correct.

A Co-worker of mine has a sandrail with an older J35 from an Odyssey with a small supercharger attached, thing looks and sounds beastly. .

If I ever see it in action, I will most definitely film!

try the 2nd generation forum. the j32a1 came in the 1999 acura TL. there are a few parts to make more power but since you are turbo i wouldn't suggest adding any aftermarket parts. take it to a tuner and make more power by increasing boost. the j32a1 has 9.5 compression so it is by far the best engine to boost in acuras v6 range
