limp to a parts store for free code reading (not in Ca.)
could be bad coil or 100 other things
were you working on the car recently? new plugs?
it usually only goes into this `extra protective mode` it the ecu thinks the engine had an overrev and is protecting itself
(overrev `cant` happen on auto trans TL, but slipping trans clutches can cause that false code)

i know the codes just all it give was it was in limp mode code. No recent work on it. I pulled the ECU fuse waited 10 mins. but its still not the same lol my cuz G35 pulled me by half a car. could get over 120
Ask for a courtesy inspection at your dealer. Maybe a local auto shop may even give a free inspection.
a few service managers may like you and do a free code reading
Otherwise if the car enters the building -it has to by law- have a work order
Acura dealer charges average 1.5 hours minimum diagnosis time--and can charge that ~150$ even if they find prob in 10 minutes..It doesnt even include the fix!! just the diagnosis which may or may not be correct--codes are clues~~~
thats why we try for a free code reading and head to acurazine with them where hopefully someone remembers reading a similar thread some time ago....!!

Does dealer give a free code read? Either way, the dealer isn't 10 minutes away for everyone. Still, my dealer gives me $5 oil changes and free 30 point inspections, so I don't complain.

You dont know the code then, because there is no limp mode code. What is the actual code number.
courtesy inspections are not free in the end-
their goal is to generate business that day for the shop!!
They have bills to pay, people to keep busy...
So your free 15 minutes of their time will uncover the need to do a fluid flush and belts and something else --right away!!
you wouldnt want your spouse to get stuck on the bridge right?!!!
Its ALWAYS Buyer Beware!!
