Injen Or Aem... For The Tl-s Owners
I'm curious which one is a better intake? I've got an AEM intake.. The sound is nice, but there is an annoying hissing sound, Like I've got a hand full of snakes under my hood.... I want to know if the Injen has better gains, vs better sound. I dont know which intake is best besides the Icebox... If i get annoyed with it to the point where I cant take the hissing and Dont get an answers on this I may just go with the Icebox...
Just need some info on these intakes for who ever knows about them....

i'll tell you man. i had an aem on the car when i bought it and i just went to the icebox. the icebox sounds sooooo much better. it's not as loud but it has a refined, authoritative sound. like a tuned machine.
i highly recommend it.

Yes at idle it is. You cant get rid of it with a intake unless you go to a icebox. The hissing is less also after it warms up. Why do you think our cars have such large and so many resonators on the intake. To get rid of all that

The annoying thing about the AEM is that it's so f*in loud, I hear it over my exhaust. It was good for a temporary CAi but I'm switching to the Icebox. I actually like the hissing sound but I hate when I nail it the intake roars too damn loud.

Im stuck between an icebox and a CAI.. I had a SRI on my accord and it actually hissed and whistled, does a CAI/SRI whistle on our TL's, or just hiss? Anyone have a video of a comptech icebox?

yea personaly i love when i punch it and the vtec roars lol...it scares the opponents...
and for the hissing, u can adjust the screw on the TB if its too loud...and if it is real loud most likely too much air is going thru.

i think you should go with the ICE BOX
all CAI/SRI make hissing noises
i love the sound of it
