If You Were on a Budget..

If you were on a budget and had around $350 to spend on any car part, which would it be? A performance part or an exterior part? I'm trying to go for looks because I know I don't have all the money in the world for bolt-ons. I was however choosing between getting either an Injen Cold Air Intake or the RaceAppealKits OEM Full Lip Kit. If I get the Cold Air Intake, I'll also get a throttle body spacer along with a hydroshield for the filter. But, if I get the full lip kit, I'd have to send it somewhere to have it painted to match my car color. Which is more reasonable? I'm kinda stuck in between those two..

Get a header would be my first choice. If your going to get a intake dont waste your money on the bypass. If you get a CAI you yill have money left for a underdrive pulley.

^valid point. pulley and intake will last you a while and will give ur car more zip. lipkit wud give it more zing but its made out of fiberglass which wont last you that long for durability reasons. (fiberglass is ehhh)

I agree with your guys' points. Plus the prep and paint for the full body kit is another $400 or so on top so I'll just get the performance parts. Thank you guys !

Not much of a HP difference, so probably not. Add something big like a turbo or S/C then bye bye tranny. Header/Pully/CAI/Exhaust even with all of that it should be ok, I've seen a lot of people on here run that stuff with stock tranny.

^ Headers have one of the highest hp difference...

But tranny should be fine. The majority of members have I/H/P/E with AT.

Oh yeah I know that haha but it's not like a Turbo where you gain like 100hp or anything crazy like that, with a 15-25hp gain, tranny should hold up, that's what I meant

Pm richiev6. He has headers for sale for around $200. $30 crank pulley of ebay (many members have it and no probles), also $120 intake on ebay an u will feel a huge difference.

Thre light weight crank pulley on my cl-s6 made a huge diff. Rpm's fly up

Yeah. When I got my option racing pulley, I def felt a huge difference. Aside for the S/C (obviously), I think that the pulley was probably the most profound HP difference I noticed.

On budget, without a doubt option pulley is FTW.
