I see a lot of threads talking about how people try to get the G35 sound wit the Mid muffler delete and like stage 1, 2, 3. Can somebody explain the stages and how much it cost so I can get a nicer deeper exhaust tone

mid muffler delete would prbly be the best/cheapest route to go imo

It'd replace your stock resonator.

 

^ Usman, those are mufflers. OP , if you want that G35 sound .. you would have to remove your midmuffler/exhaust resonator.

 

If you do remove your exhaust resonator, I'd suggest replacing it with a Dynomax resonator so there won't be any raspiness. But that G35 sound does make a little bit of raspiness iirc.

Go buy a G35 if you want that sound. You will never get the same sound as a G35.

My boys tell me my exhaust sounds like a G35, but alot louder. I have comptech headers, xlr8 hfc, and apexi ws2.

 

i have tsudo axleback, injen intake and mid muffler removed and i'm quite satisfied with my sound output. sounds great through the whole power curve

There's a picture showing the resonator and mid-muffler. When the mid-muffler is removed, it is usually just replaced with a straight pipe.

i just did a my straight pipe with p2r test pipe vibrant mufflers, im pretty happy with the sound, tho it is loud, i only get a raspy sound rev in park or neutral other than when i get on it while driving its beautiful btwn the exhaust sound and vtec since i have an aem cai as well
