is a louder horn really necessary? i mean to each his own, but how often do you use your horn and say, darn i wish that was louder? seems like a waste of money to me, but again to each his own....

i really like the sound of the OEM horn. It has a nice deep sound.
That doesnt mean i wouldnt like a much louder one, but i use mine at least 3 times a day. I don't want to get in trouble for a loud horn.

What gets you in trouble is using the horn during a non emergency!
Stereos being what they are today- If I need to alert another driver right NOW-
I want them afraid a train is about to hit them~

Honking your frustration over the war/national debt/stock market drop/mother in law moved in, whatever, is frowned upon, especially in quiet zones like hospitals.

3 times a day, your horn is probably about worn out! upgrade

lol honk if you're frustrated over the national debt would make a nice bumper sticker.
I honk at idiots that fall asleep at red lights, then fail to advance when it turns green, people that start to come into my lane without the use of turn signals, the list goes on i just can't think of them all right now. The horn still sounds great but i will consider upgrading when it goes out.

We re-installed my dads 5 air horn setup in his truck last year. It had been sitting in the garage for ~20 years since he took it off his Beaumont.
