Are you looking to change the color of the bulbs? As Kris said the car already comes with HID's. If you're looking to change the color you want something like this:

im looking too..i want mines to be a tad brighter..stocks jus dont do it for me..

 

Yea get 5000K or 6k then! There all over the place!

 

Well what is the difference between the 5k and 6k? I want it blue but would I be able to see the road at night?

 

I have 6k in my TL looks real nice give a blue tint do go any higher that 6k.

 

Nothing is brighter than stock. You will start to loose usable light even with the 6k. Id stick with Excelerates 5k

 

Technically the stock bulb is the brightest at 4300K. HID bulbs deteriorate over time and do lose brightness. If you're looking to stay as bright get 5000K, 6000K has a tint of blue in it and will be pretty close to OE in terms of brightness but to the naked eye it will actually look a little brighter than the 5000K.

 

I need to upgrade also. what about the different types of lights u can get? There are a lot of different light systems on ebay which one is right? there are the ones that you just change the bulb. Or there is the one that comes with a box that you have to hook up also

 

i went with 5K's from excelerate...i didnt want blue light's, but thay all have some kind of blue in them to the naked eye.

 

6k give a little blue not hella i will take pics and post them up so i can show you what i have.

ukemasta if your talking about headlights all you need is the bulb you dont need a HID kit because our headlights are already xenon.

 

What is the fascination with blue lights?? They dont help you see any better.

yes he is but hes changin them back to 4300 becuz of the area he lives in he needs more light than color...

this will really help me, as im about to get new ones for Christmas and a big question whats the diffrence between the phillips you have, and the ones excelerate sells the (KAIXEN HID)? how much are the phillips?
