Hi Flow Cat Or Test Pipe ?

My cat needs to be replaced but im sorta leaning tords a test pipe . is there any power difference between the two ? like which one would be better performance wise . hi flow cat or test pipe ? im not worried about any emissions or whats legal and whats not . thanks guys !

get a RT CAT. It's legal and there is no performance difference between the RT Cat and a test pipe as the RT Cat flows very well.

^x2, although cutting the stock cat out and putting a pipe in place is cheaper but u will get a check engine light.

my buddy has a test pipe on his prelude and it drones from inside the car real bad. outside you dont hear much, but inside ugh. hate to imagine how much a v6 would make.

It will change the tone slightly, and if you squint, it may be louder. This is what I noticed upon installing mine.

i got a test pipe cost me 20 bucks went to an autostore got an spark plug deflouer found the one that fit my 02 sensor bored it out then screwed that in to the test pipe extend it out no check engine light however it will get alot louder sometimes it can get annoying so be careful even im thinkin bout gettin a high flow cat

spark plug de foulers are like 4 bucks for 2, they are normally sold in pairs. you only need one though.
