I am a new owner to an '00 TL. My father has an 04' TL/6. I am definitely going to mod my car, but what stores should I look into? I would like to do cams/intake/exhaust/struts/chip/lights etc etc. Any reccomendations?

welcome to the forums ..i have a 2000 tl too..dont think theres a chip for our cars..u can go with intake first ...AEM CAI is nice or you could go with injen ...you can do suspension with coliovers which I think is the best way to go..exhaust you should leave for last unless u rlly like the look of the two big cans back there or the loud exhaust but its not gonna do much for HP ..crank pulley is a good mod ..headers too..you could upgrade your HID bulbs to higher intensity ones for more color..should be good with 6000k - 8500k good luck! use the search and youll find some of these things i mentioned

for the 00 TL-P, you can install the Uni-Chip.............do a search on those key words and read the threads,your going to have to make your own mind up on if you want to get one..............I say this because some people have said its great with power throughout the band and some people have said its a 700$ piece of junk which only adds like 10hp I think..........To each his own though i guess (good luck)

do your research,but PM Excelerate.(official vendor to acurazine)........check the black market section he has his products listed there...........and for your 00 you will be surprised how much ebay has for your car.

the best mods for hp on our cars. Intake, Headers, Pulley. those are the bedt HP gainers, (unless you have teh Coin for the SC) There are no chips for the TL. the unichip is usless for the most part. some have found a few hp with dyno tuning, but not worth the price if you ask me. Check out the staff tab and look under vendors. Many of them sell what your looking for like excelerate and a few others

I've always wondering about the SC. Since both he and I have the 2000 model, would the SC still work? I noticed it says its only for the Type-S, auto at that.

Some have gotten it to work on other models. Also, all TLs until recently (2006 models?) have been automatics.

I'll definitely check that out. I have to buy so much stuff - winter rims pulleys headers etc etc.

I think the 98-02 Accord V6 SC works for TL-Ps, perhaps with some modifications
