hey everyone, just joined the forum and already learning alot!

I have a 99TL, and i'm looking for a CAI. Alot of websites have one for the 2000-2003 models, would that be ok for my car? Any recommendations for what type of CAI and where i should start looking? I live in Ontario, Canada.

welcome to the forum. you will find lots of info on intakes by doing a little searching. comptech, aem are a couple of favs. and yes, they will fit a 99.

 

welcome to AZ. first of all there are a ton of cai's out there for our cars. it really depends on what you want. most of them do the same thing anyway. if i had a 99, i would for sure go with the aem v2. if you don't know what it sounds like, check youtube. other options are injen (very similiar to aem), comptech (gives you that stock look), and other knockoff brands. whatever you decide on, make sure it's not for the tl-s b/c it has a different size throttle body.

if you do a search, you will find a ton of threads with this topic. go check out our vendors on this site and they will be able to provide you with prices.

Comptech would be a little harder to come by, at least for now.
