help

im wanting to remove the intake resonator on my car, but the diy i found was to take off the bumper and do it that way..ive tried searching but for some reason, the internet on my blackjack wont let me search..is there an easier way for the type-s? thanks in advance

thats the easiest way. or your can turn your wheel to the right, take some clips/ screws out from the plastic fender liner thing and do it that way. but taking off the bumper takes 10 min and then the resonator is easy to take out.

Just remember with this info its far easier with the Type-S than the TL-P. The TL-P resonator box is much larger and almost touches the bumper making it really hard to get to the bolts with the bumper on.

you have a type-s, you dont need to take the bumper off - just open up and push back the splash guard and stick a wrench up there and drop it out. what rajca said

i had to take my bumper off - there is no way that 9 gallon resonator is coming out of a TL-p without taking off the bumper.

took mine off with my bumper staying on halfway.. haha

yea i guess if you unbolt the 8mm blot on top and pull out the bumper 1/2 way its possible. but by then your 1/2 done taking the bumper off, so.

..just take off your wheel and it should be a piece of cake from there. More room to work and pull away/down the plastic coverings.

well.. now, taking the bumper off for me is a breeze.. haha

only have 2 screws on each side and those taps on top... lollolol
