damn that sucks, no two-piece tip anymore. i guess we could always re-weld some beefier ones but then it won't have the ATLP logo.

No perforated tips and no ATLP sticker dam dam dam!! Now does the newly designed tip affect the sound any or is that just mainly cosmetic?

I'm kind of disappointed in the plain tip style, but apparently the perforated inner tips were phased out.

These are what the new tips look like:

Compared to:

Also, mine came with a little bit of crap on the inside:

The crud on the inside was there when I opened it, so I'm not sure if I should clean it? I probably will soon, but I just wanted to make sure it wasn't there to protect the tip or anything. HT, is it OK to wipe out the stuff on the inside of the tip?

Other than the tips, I've gotta say that this exhaust is flawless. Fitment was perfect as well. I called my exhaust shop for an estimate, and he said $60 to $80 depending on difficulty. He ended up charging me only $50 because it was so simple.

Sound is amazing as well, just as other video reviews have stated. Go to youtube and search for "2G ATLP" and you'll see some sound clips. They're pretty accurate. It's a little louder and deeper in real life though.

Another MAJOR complaint of mine is a little more serious. I strongly recommend you reconsider buying this exhaust after hearing this. Get ready to be blown away... It doesn't come with an ATLP sticker. I mean WTF?! Half the reason I bought the exhaust was for the sticker!

But more seriously, you won't regret buying the exhaust. I'm pretty sure it's the best you can get.

Thanks for the nice review

I didn't realize the tip change was going to be such a bummer...sorry for that guys. Not much we could do about it unfortunately.

Crud inside the tip? I don't see anything to be alarmed about. If you are talking about the little bit of polish left over way back on the inside of the tip then I can see what you are seeing. It really won't make any difference whatsoever...unless you like to get down on all fours and stick your nose in the exhaust to get high or something.

Sticker...you know, I do have a few here but they don't get packed with the systems. Email me if you are really anxious for it an I will send you a couple.

Marcus

We have 2 more in stock now, by the way! It will probably be a year before we make more!

is yours a little crooked/lop sided? I can't tell mine is. Im guessing it is because of a bent hanger.
