Headlights

I have a 2003 tl type s. My driver side light has a comprimised seal because it get moisture in it. I wanted to upgrade to the blacked out headlights. Do they come with all the bulbs or do I need to get them seperate?

I have seen a few other members have them. Pretty sharp. I figured I would rather get some of those then OEM. I am not sure who all offers the blacked headlights.

never seen a light housing come with any lights, wiring, or clips--must transfer all
they are selling a housing--thats it!!

its a good time to replace the HID low beam bulbs based on age,
with kits of new ballast and bulbs getting cheap (under 100$ with ziner seller)- it may be smart to replace everything while its apart- save you the trouble of doing it again later

Dammit!!!!! So the day I generated this post I had just washed my car and noticed how bad the headlight lense looked on driver's side with all the water drops on it. Well now my HID low beam is out on that same side! Lets go with least case scenario problems. Bad bulb or possible blown fuse and maybe both? Which fuse is for our headlights? And can I just change out my low beam bulbs without taking off front bumper? Stupid question but I didnt get a chance to look into further. Thanks guys!

more likely the ballast is toast from water dripping on it
but you might have just blown a bulb

a few of our vendor/sponsors are HID people, and have bulbs or complete kits ballast and bulbs- mostly plug and play for the ballast and waterproof~ for under 100 bucks!!
many choices on bulbs- brands- and opinions on each--look around azine threads and sponsors websites
iirc hidextra and hidconcepts are both part of our group

you can remove the front bumper cover- not as bad as it sounds
Or go thru more hassle removing stuff to get to the housing from the back - and work blind as you deal with a critical holding clip for the bulb

my opine= pop the cover- remove the housing from car, use torx #20 Security tip driver to remove rear cover- twist to remove it then finally reach bulb!!
