Yes, it will get a little deeper and louder as it breaks in. And damn yours hang low. Zip-tie the hangers up or something lol.

question now that i have the apexi on.....SO I want it to be just a little louder. So once I get the DC's will taking out the cat and STR8 piping it from the headers to exhaust cause any probs other than well failing emmisions and throwing a code for the O2 sensor on the cat? Or would I be better off getting a high flow cat from Excelerate? Opinions/Advice please?

^^comptech axle back, tanbe, greddy, make your own. there are numerous options, i got the apexi ws2 because its just so effin easy to put on. i am far from mechanically inclined and i put it on all by myself. if you know righty tighty, lefty loosie and you got a few tools you can do it. shit i did. and that says a lot right there lol!

you don't have to live with the code, you can just get an O2 Simulator and the CEL won't come on...

Or if you get the high flow cat, you are not screwing the guy you sell it to, keeping it "environmentally friendly" and you don't need a sim, just get the RT setup.

High flow cat will make it a bit louder and change the tone a bit. But if you are looking for serious volume increase, you just installed the wrong exhaust. You will have to get louder mufflers.

I would hang on to it. If the time ever comes that you need to sell your car, having it stock will attract more people. Then you can always sell the Apexi.

I've always done this with all my cars, kept all my original parts and sold the aftermarket parts after the car was sold.

x2. If I wanted to, I could bring my car back to 100% stock down to the oil cap. lol
