Fuel Additive

HI All. I just bought a 2003 TL with 30K miles. Car runs and looks like new, but I wanted to run a good fue; injector cleaner through. Any suggestions?

Thanks

techron seems to be the safe one. But in general, people say that those cleaners are useless. If you put 93 octane gas, it already has a lot of cleaning agents.....

I swear by Gumout Regane Maximum Complete Fuel System Cleaner. It works great in my TL and my wife's Corolla. I have used Techron, Lucas, Slick50, STP and just about every other OTC FSC and Gumout has worked far better than the rest.

I use STP fuel injector cleaner. Don't know if it did anything though.

Gumout makes a noticeable difference right after an oil change. I have done oil changes and not used it and it is not the same. Gumout does it's job very well and I would be surprised if BG44K worked better, although I will be trying it on my next oil change to find out for myself.

talked to the dealer and they said redline is best and stay away from STP. They also told me not to use synthetic oil

Any quality fuel addictive is good. I use Chevron Techron. Just don't get the unknown brand ... you don't know what they put in there.

Just my $0.02.

seafoam is great for your IM and TB but I don't think it works that great to clean your fuel system. I can feel a noticeable difference after using Gumout and I can't say the same for any other product I have used. BG44K is my next stop, but I am predicting I will go back to Gumout like always. If you haven't tried it, you need to.
