fake or real OEM lip kit for the 02-03 TL?

found a kit being offered: "This is a brand new OEM set of 4 pieces, 2 front & 2 side. Still packaged, primed and ready to be painted to your color..."
Besides the fact that there are 2 fronts (?),
aren't all lip kits painted from the factory?
are they painted at the dealer?
is this possible?

just wanted to make sure that this wasn't some off brand or replica being passed off as the real thing before putting my money down.

what do you think?

BTW, WHY hasn't someone repped the front in a flexible material by now.
I want OEM sides and front lip in this material:

most parts come unpainted and dealer sends to body/paint shop for install

with the fading the occurs in paint- just using the code doesnt result in the actual color for your car... anymore

2 fronts I would guess mean corner pieces

I requested pics...lets see what I get in response.

as for the flex front end, couldn't we get someone to do this as a group buy? seems reasonable that enough people would want in.

the side skirts might not be an issue but the front and rear lip are going to see the most wear, which is where fiberglass shows its disadvantages.

rear lip should be fine... but most of the time.. you want the front lip to be strong material...

@JD- this company would do better to make replicas of the OEM vs that crazy stuff they are producing. Does anyone have thier kits on thier rides?
very original, is all I can say

@jjasha- holding out for the real thing, cant have an ugly kit with a kick ass tail. that would'nt fly. Don't know why I didn't just try to buy your old TL out from you. had everything I liked...curtains and all!

anyone have the hookup on someone able to mfg the front lip and sides of an oem kit in that flex material.

seems like it would be a hot seller

That last post was XRTME ly helpful.
I know that they were made..just didn't know where to find them
that fiberglass kit I found goes for 400

but I'd rather have the flex as I know that these will get bumped occasionally into parking stops and speed bumps.
would rather keep it attached than ripped from the bottom.

QUALITY?
if there is such a difference in price, whats the diff in quality?
anyone know.

Octane's looked like someone was listening when they made the rear. very similar to WW.
I would have gone with the WW kit but like the OEM style vs the tabs personally.

all those kits are unpainted and come with no mounting hardware or mounting points.

you might as well go with the OEM prepainted kit if you are gonna spend the money painting and mounting the replica kits...

It looks like the same cheap kit i bought off ebay. I would not buy it again. They are by no means ready for paint. Surface isn't smooth and has wavy cracks. (arn't to deep tho)

Front lip gets a 8/10 Fits good but needs some sanding for a flush fit.

Sideskirts get a 9/10 Bolt onto stock sideskirts and looks good overall.

Rear lip gets a 5/10 It's to long. Hangs off the back just a tad. Double sided tape fixes, but where you screw it in by the wheel its 1- 1 1/2 inches too long. It only bolts up in four spots underneath.

Since the kit wasn't that great I just painted it myself.

This is my 1st time doing picture i hope it works.

Test fit

Out of the box

Mounted painted but not polished yet

You can see the gap on the rear lip here sort of

All painted unpolished still
