www.mufflermall.com

For super inexpensive tips, I know a few members went with these for $13.
I actually just picked up a pair of these until I get my exhaust. I'm not expecting these to hold up, but they were only $30 shipped...

For something a little nicer here are some Borla tips $53

Let's revisit a few posts, shall we?

It appears trance957 was looking for any ideas (I believe that's the word he used) where he could purchase exhaust tips and what kind.

Note, I finished that suggestion with a "2 cents" icon, signifying that I was simply offering my suggestion based on what I have seen others on this board purchase or discuss.

In fact, CaliChris517 then chimed in and pointed out an error in my assertion that a "few" members on AcuraZine have purchased one of the tips I mentioned, when in fact "many" have. (I humbly accept my error of wording if it is true).

Concluding, I would assume you consider these tips, found on "half" the 2nd gen TL's "rice" as well. Also, trance957 actually purchased these tips. So, by your logic, he did indeed want "rice".

I'd also like to point out that these tips are much smaller in diameter than any complete muffler kit (Comptech, Apexi, MagnaFlow, etc.) The ends/tips found on this mufflers are twice the size of these.
These tips are simply to replace the miniature stock tips and cover more of the exposed exhaust pipes. I would love to hear you defense as to why you consider these exhaust tips "rice."

the only reason i wanna replace the stock exhaust tips, is i just install the OEM bodykit, and the original tips look smaller, thats the only reason.

thanks to all.

before I got my exhaust I just went to autozone and got a pair of Pilot Motorsports chrome 3.5" rounded/rolled tips for $25.00. They looked really good IMO.

These just screw right on to the pipe inside right That's what it looks like from the pic and the way the stock ones appear to be connected.

For the stock ones, there is one bolt underneath the tip. just unscrew it and it will just slide off. And as you can see in that picture, there are three bolts. Unscrew those bolts, and just put them on to the exaust. I got 62-2407 instead of 62-2354 and they look awesome.

Just put the tips on mine this week.

Definitely like the looks of them over the OEM's.

Yes, extremely easy to screw on. The passenger side tip takes a little bit of adjusting, though.
However, the stock tips were rusted out for me. I tried all sorts of rust eater products to no avail. Both bolts snapped, so I took wire cutters and just cut the tip off. They look large, but they look great once they're on the car.
