Exhaust Question

Does anyone know what the inlet size of the TL factory exhaust is (i'm guessing 2.25)? Also has anyone had a custom exhaust made and what was the cost of it? I am thinking about getting 2 spoon style mufflers with custom pipping. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks guys.

i think the inlet is 2.25. I'm in the process of getting this done. I was told maybe around $140-$160

round canisters will definitely make the exhaust more louder..

get more of an oval shaped canister and the sound will be reduced.

I'm using Tsudos. I'm going to start off with taking the midmuffler off and putting the 4" circle magnaflow muffler on it. I'm trying to debate if I'm going to do 2.25" piping or 2.50". I want to see if the midmuffler delete with the magnaflow make a difference. And if it doesn't make what I'm looking for then I'm going to do the 2.5" piping

midmuffler removal makes a huge difference from tsudo's with stock piping. it's pretty quiet with stock piping (you can only hear the most part of the drone/exhaust tone when it's around 2k rpm). when you remove your midmuffler, you'll have a pretty decently loud exhaust.
