exhaust question

I am interested in possibly putting an aftermarket exhaust, but I don't want anything that is going to sound like a ricer's fart can.....the aftermarkets that you guys have, does it have a subtle tone to it????

Unless you go cheap, or replace your cat with a test pipe, it wont sound "ricey". You almost have to try to make a V6 sound like that. lol

If you want a cheap way you can get some magnaflow mufflers. Off amazon there quite cheap and sound nice.

Magnaflows are great, but I thought the fart can sound was the way to go. Oh shit I thought I was on a Civic forum.

All of those listed sound good and wont break your wallet. Esp. Magnaflow, had it on my last car 4 cylinder and it sounded very deep and wasn't over kill.
That was of course with a resonator on.

Magnaflow: Use the "14829" series. This is just the muffler though. If you want the catback, you have to get the 99-02 Accord system. Just enough tip to meet the rear skirt of the TL.

To find them, use Ebay, our vendor Excelerate (on top), and some other sites have. Good luck.

i have dual RACtives and i removed the midmuffler and it has a very low subtle sound, and no rattle can sound at all.
