Red face engine mount spacer info?

I saw on here somewhere that i can raise up my oil pan by getting engine mount spacers. Are there different sizes? And what brands u all recommend? Will i need to lift up my hood as well?

Your drop isn't considered slammed at all to raise your engine. Perhaps avoiding rough roads only will be more appropriate.

my drop is lower than my avatar picture. i have an inch and 3/8. my hand barely fits under the oil pan and im staggered so im at an angle. will those spacers and manual labor be expensive? reason i want more clearance is because im getting a custom aluminum cover of about 1/2 inch thick to protect my oil pan. itll be made to my exact specs so id need more clearance.

Do you scrape ur sub frame?

Just remember that skid plates are for skidding, meaning if your skid plate slams and hits hard enough on whatever is on the ground it'll hit your oil pan just as hard so Y even bother? If you do raise the motor, just remember your skid plate becomes useless and is there merely to scrape so people can hear you. I honestly see it as a waste if you get the skid plate.

Top picture is on flat surface. Surprisingly I don't scrape subframe anymore, but I scrape the hell out of the rest of the car.

Yep. My car is just as low if not lower up front. And i was gonna get thick aluminum and raise everythung so i dont have to sacrifice ride height. Im working at the moment. My hand only fits flat one way on the ground underneath my oil pan. No turning. No flipping, just sliding under. I hit the metal up front that mounts the tranny and engine and Oil pan.

Lol, at that point ur supposed to drive carefully. You will start to shave the bolts on the sub frame. You shouldn't worry about the oil pan because changing that sub frame will be a bitch

Riding low is hard on life...... Kudos to you brave people....
At the ride height you would start to bend the frame before you bend a 1/2 inch thick skid plate.

It only sucks when going thru ghetto hoods with shitty streets. Once I am in an unknown area I am highly likely to create traffic. Sure people will honk, but it's the lifestyle.

Also since bo0st's car is raked he pretty much scrapes more of the front end. Since my car is boated my car scrapes harder and harder as it passes thru bumps/dips/inclines/etc.

After seeing your car barely tucking tire, I can assure you that you do not need motor mount spacers.

My car up front needs either bigger wheel specs or spacers so they can be flush with my fender. If i take my hand and touch the tire, the tire is actually higher up than the fender. So i guess thats tucked?

Just compare your ride height to my previous ride height.
Wheels are stock 17 with dangerously bald tires.
Keep note that ur camera angle is high whereas mine is low. Never did I think of getting a skid plate at that height.
Adding spacers to your motor mounts are pointless unless you can't drive safely.

I got 17s up front and 18s in the rear. Ur more dropped on the back cuz my tires are 245 in the back so ill rub if i go lower. And miami roads sucks major balls to be honest. Ive driven as safe as possible since being slammed. Dont even speed anymore :/ so its not a good call at all then? Just as a precaution for huge speed bumps or complex gate rails? Thats how i busted my oil pan again. Shit was like crossing the wall of china lemme tell you
