not to sound like an asshole.......dude you should have waited for the icebox......i waited 5 weeks for my icebox but freakin love it!!! so much better then AEM

hey i got my own custom short ram set up,, here's a pic , i was installing my new headlights in this pic but u can see my short ram and you can see where the CAI would be if u got that instead all this thanks to taking my front bumper off lol

also wanted to add,, you can see in the picture i posted where the filter for the CAI would have gone, being that i dont' have the CAI what i had down in their was this big black box,, i guess it was supposed to send air into the stock airfilter box, what a bunch of air blocking crap,, i got rid of it all and now my car can breath,, constantly getting air, i can see down to the splash guard. i like my short ram,, it doesn't sit right next to the battery, it's off to the side by the fender...no heat soak problems at all.

long story short, its a hose from a beer bong..it fits perefctly tho
since i put it on i realized i need an oil cathc can because i can see little droplets

love the XS power, but Vinny the resonance sound is pissing me off. We have had some really really hot days so I will see whats the differ the CAI does on a normal day, but I dont think FL has a normal day.

Also I think there might be a leak on the back headers. Other than that all is good. Again thanks for your help.

we'll check the o-rings again for fitment/lube issues. everything hooked straight up so i don't really know what else it could be. easy fix might just be exhaust/heat wrap. set it up with joe and mario as well ...

i just bought a aem v2 CAI waiting till it comes. can't wait for the brown truck to arrive. from all the stories i heard on this intake seams to be the perfect match for me.

I just couldnt spend that much money on AEM v2. But the gains are great I heard. Keep us updated.
