Well after a winter full of abuse, I finally got all the parts I needed to replace my air filter... I had a bad front bumper which constantly let water straight into the filter, and then in an ice race I lost my entire fender liner on the driver side... So as you can imagine my filter took a beating.

I KNOW I am lucky that I didn't hydrolock my engine, but I did everything I could to make sure not to kill my engine with the filter.. Anyways, pics

I also threw on my summer rims, which really made my day , I was so happy to get my car looking good again

Yeah, I didn't see a point in wasting $50+ on a filter just so it would get wrecked right away.. I couldn't put in the filter til I had the new fender liner, but I couldn't put in the new fender liner til I put in the new bumper cuz the old bumper wouldn't hold it, and I didn't want to put the new bumper on until spring, cuz I didn't want to risk it during a MN winter

 

Logic ftw...
