I'm a new member and I just picked up a 2003 TL-S, I'm looking for a CAI for my car and came across this, does anybody think its worth buying?

The tubing looks paper thin. Save you money and buy a real CAI. (I just got my AEM V2, can't wait to get it installed).

 

Yuh go with brands like Injen or AEM. keep an eye out on Black Market and eBay cuz u can find good deals. I got my Injen CAI brand new for 100 off eBay

a pipe is a pipe. but everyone who bought ebay intakes claim the brackets dont line up correctly. otherwise i would have bought one and upgraded to a k/n filter and replace hoses

 

Look in to Comptech, AEM, or Injen intakes. Good luck.

i found this guy selling a brand new AEM CAI for 175 should i buy it or look for a nother one?

 

from that one straight to INJEN and you'll be happy
btw AEM are okay but don't fit that great, I had one and switched it out for the INJEN

 

for that cheap, DEFINITELY get it... the AEM CAI fits well enough (and if you decide to install spacers, it fits PERFECTLY)... all you have to do is make sure that everything is installed correctly and attached well and you won't have any issues
