diy? lowering

idk if this question has been asked before but will cutting the springs on a car lower the ride?

DON'T DO IT! Buy springs, all you'll do if you cut your stockers is ruin them and your ride quality. It won't only lower you but it will also fuck up your spring rate and you'll be bouncing everywhere. Spend the couple hundred to get lowering springs. I just bought some H & R race springs to drop me 2" for $200 and know a guy who is going to install them for me.
