diffrence in HID's

im going to be getting 6000k HID's soon and i want to know if i should get phillips, or the kaixen hid's (from the vendor on here, Excelerate) and if theres a diffrence between the two? and help is appreciate, thanks!

i would also like to know.. i already replaced with philips 4300k but everyone here talks about the kaixens

For what its worth, I had problems with my Kaixen kit. Had to get the bulb and ballast replaced. There customer service is slow, but they will take care of you. Haven't tried the Phillips so I cant comment on them.

i got no pics with the lights on. but their not as blue as 03TL_typeS. they look blue if u look at the light but they shine out white and illuminate everything on the road.

haha yea phillips are expensive. But i have a guy that own his own shop so i get hook ups LOL!

phillips.6k are the best had mine for over a year and a half now here is some pix with my hid fog but i took them off already aah

I doubt 8k would look like that, as i have seen plenty around where i live. Maybe it's the camera that makes the color like that?

Philips are the best. There is nothing wrong with Kaixen. I have them, have had them for close to a year now and they have been great. I just dont like the 6k light output.

Philips 6K look purplish, whereas Kaixen 6K is blueish...I prefer the Kaixens because of this.

thanks guys, im going to be getting the kaixen ones as a christmas gift, moneys tight this year and kaixens are good as you guys say, so i feel this is a good choice

my HID fog are 6k, but for some reason it look more 8k to me since its all blue but i change them out to 4300k but i am waitin to do my civic or honda fog mod just been lazy, if any1 here in sac want to help me would be nice.. =-)
