My TL has 30 percent tints on it right now, but I was thinking of going darker. The brown interior makes it look lighter than I would like it to be. I was thinking of going 20 percent. I've heard Maryland police like to harass you if your windows are too dark though. Unsure about it. Thoughts?

and if you go below Maryland's legal tint limit, then of course you'll get hassled by police
stay at or above the legal limit and you'll be fine on the police front.

However, if you want it darker...that's the risk you're going to take......... fix it tickets or the cool look of darker tint?

I got 5 percent back 20 front, check out my profile for pics of my car. If i could do it again i would get 35 front 20 back.

 

naw if i do it i would have it the same all around. one of my friends did notice my tint yesterday and it made me feel good.

 

I live in SF where front tints are illegal. I did 30 in the front and 15 in the back to create the illusion that my front isn't tinted. It's pretty see-through for the front, and I've never ran into any problems with the police... so far. If I could do it again, I'd do 20 all around.

 

if i gather the balls i will probably do 20 percent all around, paranoia sets in with whats happening around the country right now

what does the stuff going on in our country have to do with tint?
common sense says to go legal so the cops wont shoot you.

I did 20s in the back windows, and 35s in the fronts...

 

^I really really enjoy a uniformed tint all around. makes it super classy looking.

mismatched tint looks odd, BUTT of course, that's my opinion.

 

People see a tinted car turning the corner and get paranoid and scared, trust me i know, i have 5% front 20% back and i live in chicago.
