clickety click

I remember someone mentioning something about a clicking noise coming from some kind of sensor located up top by the strut bar on the drivers side. They mentioned if it clicks it needs to be replaced. Well mines clicking. Does it need to be replaced? Whats its purpose? How much is it?

It doesnt "need" to be. If it bothers you you can. It can be changed in 2 min by you and costs like 35 bucks. Its the purge control solenoid.

Yeah, so does the engine perform better with it replaced, or no difference at all?
