Arrow Cat-Back Exhaust

So I was either gonna get http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tsudo-99-00-...ht_3344wt_1396 with a mid-muffler delete

Or

A cheap (under 600 bucks) Cat-Back Exhaust System. Like.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Accord...ht_4322wt_1396
I know its off-brand, but is it a good off-brand? If not, Please link some Cat-backs for under $600 bucks

ALSO - Would the axlebacks + the mid muffler delete be the same loudness as a catback?

Thanks for who replies

I would go for the Tsudo mufflers with the mid muffler delete. That Accord exhaust will probably be raspy and drone and the fit and finish is going to be a problem. I don't think Accord cat backs are a direct bolt on.

Accord catback will need to be lengthened by approx. 2" or so just e aware of that. I got my tsudo axle backs for 279 shipped and I'm happy w those. You can always keep your eyes open for a used comptech B-pipe in the black market or eBay whatever then add that later. If you have TL P you'll also need to upgrade your cat converter to make it work. It's still a good value though. If I can't find a used cat and have to buy a new one I'll have paid just over 900 bucks for a catback exhaust and high flow cat.

I see you have the axlebacks and the mid muffler delete, is pretty loud? Does it sound nice and deep? Or a raspy sound?

With the Tsudos and mid muffler deleted you get a nice sound. Not raspy really but it's a lot different than stock. I've set off the more sensitive car alarms just crusing past. The sound at WOT is great though. My daughters say it sounds like a dragon roar lol. It's pretty enjoyable to me. Lots of people turn and look because they don't expect an Acura to sound like a race car lol.

It does drone. Only when cruising at very slow speed though. Normal driving it sounds really nice.

Sweet, I cant wait till I get mine

How much did you pay for the Mid Muffler delete to have someone do it? Do I need to buy anything else to install the Tsudo's? Like a mount or anything?

Yea, but not many hardcore muffler shops around here, and from I have read the axleback + mid muffler delete will be good enough for me. and i have already ordered the Tsudo axlebacks.

I have heard as low as $30 and upwards of $100+ for the mid muffler delete. Just depends on where you go. Just make sure they do a good job. As far as the Tsudos go they will come with everything you need to install them. Some people, myself included, have had issues with the hangers on drivers side muffler being off a bit and it pulls the muffler too high. I solved the problem by changing out the rubber hangers for that side. I used these universal hangers: http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...exhaust+hanger
Spray the old ones w WD-40 and they'll come off fairly easily.

Alright I'll get one of those. Do you have any issues with cops pulling you over with the exhaust noise or no? Any is it OK to replace the muffler with just normal steel piping?

They'll have pipe at the shop to use. As far as cops go lol I'm in Milwaukee. Home of Harley Davidson. The motorcycle cops ride Harley's. It's nowhere near as loud as that so I'm not worried about that.

here's sound clips i made when i installed my Tsudo SP axleback---i have a clip before muffler delete and clip after muffler delete.

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-116/2g-tsudo-sp-axleback-sound-clips-862377/

there is slight drone between 2000-3000 rpm depending on how much you're pressing on the accelerator but highway is fine no drone. low speed city driving will have more noticeable drone though.

i have gotten pulled over once since i installed the Tsudos though, but then again i get pulled over every week for something lol, and the MA state trooper said it's not loud at all but in massachusetts it's against the law to have an "altered/aftermarket exhaust" he said he just saw the chrome mufflers and stopped me but after revving for him a few times he decided he liked the sound and let me go haha + he said his girlfriend has a 00TL and i gave him some good ideas for mods
