I don't think there's such a thing available on the market.

Although I am no engine expert, the impression I get from reading up all the sources available in our forum is that our engine is pretty much tuned to its highest performance potential at the factory.

Beside the usual set of bolt-ons, there is no other economically feasible and readily available performance enhancing modification available for a 2G TL.

The only exception seems nitrous, but that's something else entirely.
It's only good for going straight and it can only be pernicious to your already fragile transmission.

There aren't any. Our vendor excelerate had a set made but he never got a member(with a stock motor) to install them and have a before and after dyno to see if the grind would give us gains.

why would a stock motor be required if there was a before and after dyno done?

Do a search on the CL side of the forum. All the info is there.

You could go with TypeS cams if you're driving a TLP.

dont expect huge gains, these motors arent like old pushrod fords and chevys that can get a bunch out of a cam because we already have a aggressive cam that does in vtec what most big grind cams do.

Cylinder head cover gaskets will certainly need to be replaced.

Factor in several hundred (i'd guess $400) for install. You should also purchase an air-fuel controller as the stock ecu will limit the gains with the new cams.

I'd say you're looking at $1000+ for everything.

And so are the 400-1000 dollar exhausts people put on to gain 2 hp. There are certainly far cheaper and most likely yield alot better mods out there, But if your looking to squeeze every last bit out of it why not try. I do suggest getting a NEO or E-Manage and having the car dyno tuned afterwards

np, just pointing out to the masses that it's not as simple as just throwing a set of cams under hood and poof, instant HP.
