Boost... How much can i run
2002 Type S want to go boost can the stock tranny handle any boost or is the 6 speed swap the only option. Or should i spray like a 100 shot is that safer thanks

if you want performance why not go 6spd from the start...

and i would not build a 2nd gen TL using the stock tranny....

IMHO If the AUTO Tranny takes a Crap with Stock TL-S HP what makes you Think it will hold up boosted????

LMAO at 100 Shot, You wanna see a tranny explode dont you???


TL-S 6 SPEEDO IS "The" ONLY WAY TO GO SON.

I have not smoked my trans running threw 4 bottles worth of 75-100 shots auto.

Hp isnt the reason our trans die. Its heat from shifting. Our trans CAN handle quite a bit of power.

lol try a dual tranny cooler setup.

Anyways, I boosted for a long time with an auto tranny with no problems.

Fluid is NOT the problem either.


The problem is GETTING fluid to 3rd gear. It cant get enough to keep it cool.
