BOMZ Racing Short Ram Intake

My friend bought one of these intakes for his 03 accord. I want to buy it for my 03 acura TL. But I only can find these on ebay. And the intakes I found were only for the type-s model. Does anyone know if it will fit on a non type-s TL? What does a Type-s model have that the non type-s doesnt?

1. tl-s has a larger diameter TB
2. tl-s has the vsa (a look a like throttle body) right before the actual tb, which u would need a shorter intake tube.

hmmm...shit... that sucks... so when u mean larger where talking about the tube that the intake is on? If I get a tls intake it would be too big?

the intake inlet is larger in which the intake tube will have to be larger.

if u get a tls intake you have to it will be too short to connect on the tb and then out the hole for the cold air.

But If I get a cold air intake wouldnt that put my engine in risk? Water could get into my engine. It is winter and I will drive in snow with it.

No it wont unless you DONT use your head and drive into a lake. Winter wont hurt it nor will rain.

i have a cold air and with the splash guard underneath, the most amount of water that is going to enter your car is a few droplets of fine mist flying up and through the filter. so unless you drive into a puddle so deep that half of your wheel is underwater, i dont see any chances of hydrolocking

Is it hard to install? There are the BOMZ Racing CAI on ebay. But is it worth going more expensive to get the name brand CAI? Like K&N etc...
