Before I Purchase.....

I'm in need of brakes because mine are warped (well been warped for probably a year now) and I am just getting sick of the vibration. I don't like to drive passengers because they complain (well notice) the vibration as well. So I think and want to change my brakes.

From reading threads for the past week, I think I narrowed it down to what I want.

Thinking I will order Rotoras Slotted/Satisfied Pro Ceramic Pads/Goodridge SS Brake Lines.

But my question is, I do a lot of city driving (probably 90% if not 100%) and probably do alot of 50-->0 or 40-->0 braking. I guess I go easy on my brakes, I like to ride them most the time, but I know I'm not aggressive when I hit my brakes. But if I go with this setup and because of city driving, will my rotors warp even faster? Is there a better combination for city driving?

Also, anyone know some good sites to order from (cheap sites)? Yes, I am also aware of the vendor here too Just exploring my options.

Thank guys

Good Choices

I like your set up. The ceramic pads will insure that the rotors do not warp. If you had went with a green or red pad or any other hard semi metallic pad you may be at risk of warping. You would normally be safe with any pad on a 50 to 0 braking if it wasn't for the hilly terrain and the full load (passengers) factors.
I'd stick with that you decided and you will be satisfied with the improvement and reliability.

that sounds like a nice setup if you got the $$ that is...are you doing front and rears? Axxis ULT pads are pretty good too but they cost a lot more than satisfieds though

Yes, I have the $$$ That's really the biggest issue for me. Biggest problem would to have warped rotors again

I'm doing both front and rear, and while I'm at it putting in some springs and shocks hopefully

From what I hear, Axxis tends to have more squeaking, and that's something I cannot stand.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. Anyone know cheap sites to order from?

streetbeatcustoms.com for Rotora's and partsamerica.com for Satisfied Pro pads. Think about having the rotors cryo treated. They will last for the life of the car and will not warp on you again.

I have the ROTORA rotors in stock and ironically I have a Satisfied Pro Ceramic front pad in stock too. I also have Goodridge SS lines in stock too. PM me for prices. Include your zip code and year and model and what parts you want in the PM.
