so as you guys know i got my exhaust on today and it looks and sounds rad as fuck but there are a few things i just dont get. one it costed me 100, the gaskets didnt fit and the guys who put the new ones on i dont think bent the hangers so i hope its fine otherwise ill have to bend them myself (i havent seen it in person yet just a phone vid) but i will have pics up tonight and video tomorrow

100$ ??? I think thats alot of money , he probably lasted 30 minutes doing it to, thats how long i lasted , and i also had to torch mine off

but yeah crazy enough my resonator is off and its still loud but i did a little take off after droppin a friend off only up to 30 and instantly had a cop follow me for 4 blocks and the cops never come around there, just got unlucky and lucky he didnt pull me over

i dont think the cops followed you for ur muffler then cause the muffler isnt loud at all without the resonator removed.

 

no trust me cops here have nothing to fuckin do i just punched it around a corner and my friend said the cop sped around his corner to catch up to me and then followed me for a few blocks, i know it was cause my exhaust i guess the cop wasnt far away so

 

that sucks man. i didnt get followed yet and i dont have a mid-muffler. i guess we'll see

 

yeah i mean i guess its also where you are and stuff like idk how the cops are around you but these cops dont have shit to do than drive around

i live 2 mins away from west philly in a town called Upper Darby. there is not ONE black or asian cop in this town out of maybe 50-60 cops? they're all white lol thats how my town is.

Chrisr414, what city do you live in? When I was a teenager and had my riced out cars the cops would bother me and give me 10day fix-it-ticket all the time, but now I drive cars that aren't p.o.s. and I don't get bothered!

During the summer I was driving my mr2 around a lot since I just got it running again and I have 0 of the 2 oem cats and I removed the resonator, and my exhaust is 3" that widens to 3.25" before the muffler, comes out of the muffler 4" and widens to 5" at the tip; anyway, the muffler vibrates everything and I was driving with my friend in his VW rabbit with 1.8T and the exhaust fell off before the car just after the turbo and my exhaust drownded his out...and I never have been pulled over in the mr2 for my exhaus(knock on wood) and the car stands out even without the exhaust!!

That's my car. I got my free because they use my car as prototype. I have no issue with it at all (after almost a year). Sounds good. The sound clip at youtube is w/o mid-muffler, w/ Compect header, and AEM V2. I put my mid-muffler back on 2 wks later because it's a bit loud for me. Sounds perfect now.

 

thats exactly how mine looks its perfectly flush on the drivers side but the passangers sits a lil to the right

 

Yea i just put it on this morning and it was 35 outside so i didnt feel like messing with it, but im going to fix it monday when i go to work

Bend the hangers to sit more even.

 

yeah i looked and both of mine are uneven to an extent the left one is up enough just sits out of place the the right was is too low, i just dont wanna mess it up

 

cant be any worse than it is. Bend it. Its just metal. Bend it too much bend it back

I used the box end of a wrench, if you have a pipe small enough that might work also; possibly the handle of a hydraulic jack.
